Life looks different again!
10 years ago we packed our bags, bought plane tickets and flew to the USA to chase our dream life, (ok, it was a bit more complicated) but eventually we ended up in Florida.
I'll be honest, when have I not, Florida was not it for me, not initially, but I was open and happy to support my husband's dream. We made great friends and enjoyed all of it. I love change and thrive at a challenge so I gave it my all and 10 years flew by in a second.
That time for me and my family truly threw us on a different trajectory. I felt welcomed in this space with my 'too much' for most personality, drive and ambition. The children blossomed and the sun shone down on us. It wasn't always easy, I had no status so couldn't work in the US and as soon as I got status covid hit. But once we got thru that I was driven to do everything I had ever dreamed of professionally. Opening my beautiful studio and growing the business beyond my wildest dreams.
We have both been exceptionally successful in that space so why the move?
Life doesn't stand still and I live in the 'no regrets' mindset. Whilst I still feel incredibly young the birthday numbers are getting bigger and basically I am a 'Cali girl' at heart who is lucky enough to have a husband who wants to make my dreams come true. The beach, big wide ocean, outdoor life and new adventures called and we went after them.
So here I am. With new dreams, a few more boundaries and some salt in my hair.
